Research Associate/Postdoctoral Position, Louisiana State University
Description: This position involves designing, running and analyzing data from experiments in a federally funded project examining metacognition in investigative interviewing. The Research Associate will help plan and prepare the studies, supervise student research assistants in the collection of data, and contribute to the analysis and writing of reports and subsequent journal articles. The position will be in the Department of Psychology at Louisiana State University and will report to Dr. Sean Lane who is the Project Director. Funding is guaranteed for one year.
Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Cognitive or Social Psychology or related field; must have knowledge and experience with psychological laboratory research methods; must have strong statistical analysis skills and experience supervising undergraduate research assistants.
Desired Qualifications: Ph.D. in Cognitive or Social Psychology or related field; strong oral and written communication skills.
