The March for Science is a celebration of science and the role that it plays in everyday lives. A key aim is to promote science education and the use of scientific evidence to inform policy.

The March for Science invites everyone to join together on 22nd April 2017 and march in support of science.

If you’re a SARMAC member and you plan to March for Science, please inform Kim Wade (K.A.Wade@warwick.ac.uk, SARMAC Executive Director). Below we will keep an up-to-date list of the cities in which SARMAC colleagues are marching for science.

The March for Science is building a grassroots movement that champions the role of science in serving society and advancing the common good, and inspires the scientific community to engage in politics and policy. We’re in this for the long haul.
